
We hit the trail early in the morning! Trail is well marked and easy to navigate. We saw a couple of deer first thing in the morning 🙂
There were a lot of people hiking and biking on the trail even at sunrise on a Saturday. There are some great views at the top and on the way up.
We ended up clocking over 10 miles and almost 2k elevation gain during the hike! This took us about three hours.
Make sure to check on the views from the Cabin (Eagle Eye Shelter) which is an old family summer camp. Also, make your way to what is left of the old John Brisben Walker House. See more in the pics below!
